Priorities

First and foremost, determine your top priority.  Is it the salary?  Is it the location (Remote, Hybrid, In-Person)?  Is it the company culture?  After you determine your top priority, you can start narrowing your searches to find jobs that better suit your needs.  Then, the search begins!

Updating your resume and cover letter to fit the job you are applying for is vital.  Highlight your most relevant skills and experience based on who will be reading it and what the job entails.  For example, if it is a management position, make sure to list quantitative data from previous positions regarding growth or project completions you may have helped achieve.  Also, include skills like “project management”, “attention to detail” and “organized”.
